Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Luminal mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using Luminal, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

Luminal provides audio sessions combining binaural/isochronic tone layers, ambient music, and nature sounds intended to support relaxation, focus, sleep, and similar everyday wellbeing use. Luminal is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Free trial and subscriptions

Luminal offers a limited free trial period of listening time, after which certain moods, sounds, and session lengths require a Luminal Pro subscription to access. Two modes (Sleep and Study) remain free to use indefinitely.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed via the App Store. Subscription details, including price and renewal terms, are shown to you before purchase, in accordance with Apple's guidelines.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own refund policies. We do not directly process refunds.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Luminal only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the App or its content.

4. Health disclaimer

Luminal's audio sessions are intended for general relaxation, focus, and sleep support purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical condition — including but not limited to epilepsy, seizure disorders, or any condition affected by audio stimulation — consult a healthcare professional before use. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you experience discomfort.

5. Intellectual property

All content within Luminal, including audio, visual design, and branding, is owned by the developer or licensed for use within the App. You may not extract, copy, or redistribute this content outside the App.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Luminal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific expectations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Luminal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
